Starting Your Bankruptcy:To start your Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 Basnkruptyc, we ask a nonrefundable $200 Deposit. You can send a check to our address, pay by Paypal, or Credit Card, or in person at our address. When we receive the fund, you will be enrolled in the Credit Counseling Course. The fee for this course is included and you should not pay extra for this course.
Next step:After you have taken the course, we make an appointment for an interview whether in person, by phone, or by any other media to prepare the Bankruptcy petition.The petition is an Application about about 50 pages of documents prepared for debtor to a court to declare the debtor bankrupt. We have to list all your Assets, Liabilities, Income and Expenses, lis tof your creditors, and other information. You should have a list of all creditors and collection agencies ready. After you pay the attorney fees and court filing fees, we will file this petition electronicaly.
Filing Bankruptcy:After preparing your petition, we will file your case electronically. Curretly, the court filing fee is $306. This amount shall be paid before filing your petition. You should pay the filing fee directly to us so we can forward it to the court electronically.
Creditor's meeting (341a meeting):After filing your petiton, we will get an appointment for you to appear in person in front of a bankrupcy Trustee. The date of the hearing is about a month after filing your bankruptcy. We will be with you in that hearing. The hearing should be very short, and Trustee would ask very general questions. We will priovide most of the questions to you before the hearing date.
Financial Management Course:You can take the second course after the filing of your petition. Usually, you have only sixty days after the creditor's meeting to file the certificate with the court. The certificate shall be filed witht he court or your case would be dismissed.
Discharge: about two to three month after the heaqring, you shall receive a discharge from the court.
